Nirmala Sitaraman started proposing budget 2019 in Loksabha. She has started with - India, now, is a #3 trillion economy and showed the intent of targeting #5 trillion economies by 2024. She added that India was at 11th position in the world economy in 2014. However, it has leaped frog to No. 6 in 2018. It is expected that India will cross the Uk to be the fifth largest economy in the world by the end of this year.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India has reaffirmed his vision of $5 trillion Indian GDP in NITI Ayog meeting on June 15. It was the fifth meeting of the governing council on Saturday. All Chief Ministers but Mamta Banerjee, Captain Amarinder Singh and KCR attended the governing council meeting. LGs of all Union territories were also present. Before, Narendra Modi explained his vision of $5 trillion Indian economy on  June 10 in a meeting with top 100 officials including Cabinet secretary and all departmental secretaries. Four of his Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, N Sitaraman and Jitendra Singh were also present in the meeting on June 10, 2019.

Narendra Modi said, "The goal to make India a $5trillion economy by 2024 is challenging, but can surely be achieved."  He urged all state governments to recognize their core competencies and work towards raising GDP India targets. He wants it right from the district levels.

News Exit poll -NDA is sweeping the Loksabha election


NDA is sweeping the Loksabha election according to exit poll results. India has given a mandate for NDA 2. Narendra Modi will again be the Prime Minister of India. All the survey agencies have similar views. However, they differ in the number of seats.

The various survey agencies had their own exit poll results. However, there is a unanimity about Narendra Modi to come back. Exit poll results give 277 to 350 seats to NDA. Rahul Gandhi led Congress party could not increase its tally much. There is a consensus among all exit polls in most of the states but UP, Bengal, and Odisha.

The final result will come on May 23, 2019 and we have to wait for that.

News Loksabha election 2019: Last phase tomorrow

Loksabha election, 2019 has come to an end. The last phase will be tomorrow, May 19. Voters of India will vote to elect 59 members of parliament on the day. It will vote in the states of  Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The most important of all the seats is  Varanasi Lok Sabha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fighting from the seat. 

In between, Amit Shah claimed a triumphing majority at BJP Press Conference. On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu has started meeting with the leaders of the opposition to find a way to form a government after election results.

What Amit Shah said in the press conference


BJP called a press conference today before the closing of the election campaign. Amit Shah, BJP National president, addressed the PC first and informed about the rigorous campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party during all seven phases of Loksabha election 2019. Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also addressed the press conference. However, when questioned, he modestly forwarded it to Amit Shah, speaking that he is the party president.

Amit Shah told that BJP alone will win over 300 seats and the alliances will also join the league with extra seats in the Loksabha. Both Narendra Modi and Amit Shah were confident about the same. Amit Shah provided all necessary details of the total election campaign. He told that the Prime Minister himself traveled more than one lakh kilometers for the campaign. He added that he had a tour of more than 150 thousand kilometers during the same period.

While answering a question by a news reporter he informed that 80 BJP workers martyred in West Bengal. He blamed Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress (TMC) for the political violence.

When asked about a recent comment of Pragya Singh Thakur, He told that the party has issued a show-cause notice to her and she has to appear before the disciplinary committee. The party will act as per its constitution. However, he condemned her speech.
