Narendra Modi reaffirmed his $5 trillion vision in NITI Ayog meeting

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India has reaffirmed his vision of $5 trillion Indian GDP in NITI Ayog meeting on June 15. It was the fifth meeting of the governing council on Saturday. All Chief Ministers but Mamta Banerjee, Captain Amarinder Singh and KCR attended the governing council meeting. LGs of all Union territories were also present. Before, Narendra Modi explained his vision of $5 trillion Indian economy on  June 10 in a meeting with top 100 officials including Cabinet secretary and all departmental secretaries. Four of his Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, N Sitaraman and Jitendra Singh were also present in the meeting on June 10, 2019.

Narendra Modi said, "The goal to make India a $5trillion economy by 2024 is challenging, but can surely be achieved."  He urged all state governments to recognize their core competencies and work towards raising GDP India targets. He wants it right from the district levels.

India is aiming to be a 5 trillion dollar economy News

India is about #3 trillion economy that stands sixth in the world GDP list. It is the fastest developing economies in the globe. The GDP growth rate of India moves between 7 to 7.5 percent. The Modi 2.0 has been aiming to bring it to $5 trillion levels by 2024, i.e. within 5 years. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and inspired his colleagues and top officials in New Delhi on June 10, 2019 to drive India towards the goal.
