A circular has been issued by Directorate of college education, Rajasthan to all private colleges         ( Circular No. 74, May 14, 2012). It is now mandatory for all colleges in Rajasthan to have a website at the earliest. 

It is also incumbent upon the private colleges that they must mention their website address before applying for a permanent NOC, according to the circular. Directorate of college education, Rajasthan has also prescribed features of the website in the circular.

It is problematic for many colleges to design and develop a standard website according to the government norms. It is especially difficult for the colleges in rural areas in Rajasthan.
